Where Time is the Ingredient
Modus Vivendi builds patient, evidence-based apps for people who think in decades. No hype, no quick fixes, no fads — just the science that ages well, delivered with the care it deserves.
We are starting with one app. More will follow as the studio grows.
The first app
Sharp, active, purposeful into your 90s.
The science of longevity is real, and it is moving faster than the noise around it. Most of what you've seen — the hype, the supplements, the biohacks — will not age well. Some of it will.
Old Growth Longevity is built on the part that will. A patient and evidence-based coaching app for people who plan to be sharp at 80 and active at 90 — not because we promise it, but because the science increasingly says you can be.
The real enemy isn't death. It's the decade of decline before it — the years of lost mobility, cognitive fog, and dependence that most people quietly fear more than dying. OGL is built to compress that window, pushing it as far toward the end as possible.
The weekly plan is the spine of Old Growth Longevity. It is built around your goals, your training history, your time, your equipment, and the life you actually live. Strength, cardio, mobility, sleep, and recovery — laid out as a week you can actually finish. Consistency at 70% beats heroics at 100% followed by burnout, and the plan is designed for the long version of you, not the dramatic one.
Your trajectory shows up as a single Longevity Score, built from six domains drawn from the published research: cardiovascular fitness, metabolic health, strength and movement, sleep, emotional health, and what goes in your body. The score tells you where you are. The weak link tells you where to start.
Old Growth Longevity's AI coach is not a chatbot. It is a longevity partner that knows your data, your training history, your labs, and your life — and, powered by Anthropic's Claude, speaks to you in the voice you choose: Naturalist, Scientist, Optimizer, or Athlete. It tells you the truth, says when the evidence is thin, and never pressures, guilt-trips, or oversells. Ask the coach why it recommended something and it will tell you — and point you to the research it drew from.
Today's consistency isn't just about today. The therapies arriving in the next 10 to 15 years — senolytics, metabolic interventions, epigenetic approaches — will reward the people who arrive in good cardiovascular and metabolic shape. What you build now is positioning for what's coming next.
Every member grows a Tree of Life inside the app — a visible expression of consistency over years and decades. The oldest trees on earth were planted by no one and outlived everyone who first stood beneath them. Yours carries a quieter version of that idea: plant it now, and you may sit in its shade with your great-grandchildren.
We are opening Old Growth Longevity to a limited group of founding users before public release. Founding members shape the app, get permanent access at founding terms, and grow alongside it.
We are looking for people who are serious about the long arc — not the next 90 days, but the next 40 years. If that sounds like you, tell us a little about yourself below.
The grove is small. We read every application.
We read every application personally.
Founding members are invited in waves, starting this summer.
If the grove fits you, we'll be in touch.
